Murraya koenigii
Fresh-dried Kerala curry leaves β fragrant, slightly citrusy, and deeply aromatic. The soul of every Kerala tempering, impossible to substitute and unforgettable once tasted fresh.
Kariveppila β curry leaves β are the unsung hero of Kerala cuisine. Our leaves are handpicked from mature trees grown without pesticides in the lowland districts of Thrissur and Malappuram. They are shade-dried slowly at low temperature to preserve their volatile aromatic compounds, which give that signature warm, slightly citrusy fragrance. Unlike the pale, odourless curry leaves found in supermarkets, ours retain a deep green colour and an aroma that fills the kitchen the moment they hit the oil.
