Elettaria cardamomum
Grown at elevations above 900m in the misty Idukki highlands, our cardamom pods are plump, vibrantly green, and intensely aromatic β prized by perfumers and master chefs equally.
The "Queen of Spices" demands the finest growing conditions: cool mist, filtered forest light, and volcanic soil. Our cardamom farms in Idukki sit between 900β1,500 metres above sea level where morning fog wraps every plant. Each pod is picked by hand when it reaches exactly 75% maturity β the precise moment that locks in maximum essential oil content. Pods are cured in traditional wood-fired dryers to preserve that brilliant green color.
